the Great Grand Road Trip: script supervisor

COVID-19 changed how many “view” theatre.

This was a Grand Theatre: High School Project filmed production, directed by Andrew Tribe.

Six Grand HSP production students and a professional web production company, Web.isod.es, produced this 40-minute film during the theatre blackout in the summer of 2021

“THE GREAT GRAND ROAD TRIP is a love letter to London, Ontario. High School Project students spent three weeks exploring some of London’s favourite landmarks and imagining the possibilities for theatrical magic. Our Roadtrippers reinvented some of your favourite musical numbers in new, exciting ways—and all outdoors! Think of it as the biggest, sprawling summer musical revue ever!”

Thirty-six students from across London from Grade 9 to Grade 12, worked in front of and behind the camera to develop this 40-minute show, filmed at 6 outdoor locations in the steamy August heat.
